In May of 2005, I visited Mukteshwar for the first time with friends as just another tourist. The Nanda Devi Peaks, the Oak forests, the sleepy valleys, the people, the Fruit orchards made me fell in love with the place. I became a regular visitor to the town of Mukteshwar.

Saliyakot Malla is a Village in Dhari Block in Nainital District of Uttarakhand State, India. It is located 19 KM towards East from District head quarters Nainital. Saliyakot is one of the known fruit belts in that area. The spring season brings about the most spectacular Rhododendron bloom in the valley.
