Nature Walk

Bhalu Gad Falls

You can make a day trip to Bhalu Gad Falls. It's a 10 km drive from “Whispers” followed by a beautiful and a valiant trek of about 1.5 kms. to the falls. The trek is surrounded by irresistible valley, step farms by the local farmers, and oak forests. It also has small shacks on the way for you to take a nice breather by the farms and have some tea, coffee and maggi. The whole experience is very rewarding.

River walk

"Whispers" is located just about 3 kms from river down the valley. Take a trek to the river. Take a few dips if your heart calls for it. Apple orchards, plums and rhododendron trees surround the walk to the river. Feel free to pluck and indulge in apples, apricots and pears during the months of July and August. We would be happy to pack a delectable picnic basket for you.

Town of Mukteshwar

Hop on to a bike or a taxi and explore the olde worlde town of Mukteshwar. Mukteshwar is blissfully surrounded by Nanda Devi peaks on one side and valley on the other side There are a lot of cozy cafes offering great food and fresh brewed coffee needed just after a walk around the town. Indulge in some shopping from the local shops where they sell home made jams, jellies and juices, hand crafted shawl, sweaters and stoles.

You can also head out to the serene Mukteshwar temple and take a glimpse of the most spectacular sunset at Chauli-Ki-Jali.

Long drive

If you are in a mood for a leisurely, long drive, just hop on to your car and take a drive around the thick plush forest of IVRI. The drive is a nature lovers paradise. It takes you deep into the preserved forest of the IVRI, which is completely untouched and purely uninhabited.
